General Process

Newly Generated Media

All new media is transferred to the Unraid server in the Media share.

If the media is renovation related it goes directly into a date based folder under the `Renovations` folder.  All other media is transferred to the `Media\Inbound` folder under its respective device folder.

Unifi Camera Footage

Unifi footage is not compatible with Davinci Resolve.  Therefore, it needs to be re-encoded using Handbrake on a Mac.  All new Unifi footage is archived using the Unifi Protect archive feature.  The destination folder is `Media\Unifi\<date based folder>`

When archiving, a folder is created based upon the date that the archive was copied, not the date of the footage.  After the archive is saved, it needs to be moved into a folder that reflects the correct date.

After all footage is sorted out, it needs to be moved to a local external SSD drive (T7 Touch) into the `Unifi` folder.

Steps:

1. Using the Unifi Protect app, archive the desired footage using the archive feature that has already been configured.
2. Copy all of the MP4 files in the newly archived folder Media\Unifi\<folder> on the Unraid Tower (192.168.1.140) to the local T7 Touch drive's Unifi folder.
3. Using Handbrake, re-encode all of those new files.
